This is our story
Protection4kids was born from the meeting between Andrea Baggio and Juan Riccardo Palacio, CEO of ReputationUp, and Annachiara Sarto, an expert in child protection and emergency situations. Their combined digital, entrepreneurial, and humanitarian skills gave rise to a shared vision: to combat child trafficking and exploitation in a concrete and innovative way.
Since 2010, 84% of child trafficking cases have moved online, transforming
the digital world into the main space for grooming, abuse, and exploitation.
It is precisely this awareness that gave rise to Protection4Kids: the desire of two entrepreneurs
recognized globally in the digital sector to intervene on the same battlefield
used by criminals, exploiting technological and strategic skills to prevent,
intercept, and combat these crimes.
However, Protection4Kids’ action is not limited to the online world. The organization also operates
in humanitarian emergency contexts, where wars, forced migration, and natural disasters make minors
even more vulnerable and where the risk of trafficking and exploitation increases exponentially. Protection4Kids
was thus created as a project that combines digital innovation, human rights protection, and field intervention,
with the aim of building effective and lasting protection systems for the most at-risk children,
wherever they may be.
